“Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends…” John 15:13
As a nation today we remember all of those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
What words can I place here that would encompass the rippling depth of this day and life forever changed for our Gold Star families. Only the Word comes to mind.
“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Ephesians 5:1
I can not even begin to fill those “boots.” Memorial Day everyday, somewhere for someone. Honor them by loving.
